Improving Beauty Therapy Services in the Tourism and Hospitality Industry in the 4 Districts
Project Period: 2 Years (January 2018 – January 201)
Objective: The objective of this project is that 40 women owners of Beauty Salons in Ampara, Batticaloa, Polonnaruwa and Trincomalee increase their income by expanding their range of quality services to domestic and foreign tourists. To achieve this, the S4IG Program will support provision of skills to improve the range and quality of services and provide Salon owners with business development and management skills to support improvements across their businesses.
Target Group: S4IG with Service Provider will select 40 Beauty Salons owned by women (10 per district) in the Ampara, Batticaloa, Polonnaruwa and Trincomalee districts where tourists can access services. The project will target the 40 Beauty Salon Owners and their staff around 40/50.
